Herning visit

On the 15th November 2011 a representation of Aarhus AIESEC went to Herning in order to make a presentation about AIESEC’s core products, i. e. internships. The presentation took place at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, just because most of the students, who were interested in internships had lectures until 16.00. On behalf of AIESEC Simone and Alina discussed the internships possibilities with students from AU Herning.

Alina said:

'Career steps' office representative at AU-Herning University welcomed us and made us feeling comfortable from the first minute we met. The AIESEC presentation was in the huge auditorium, where the screen looks like in the cinema.

Finally the presentation started. Antoniya (counselor of ‘career steps’ at AU-Herning) began.with showing few slides about Career steps: their events, responsibilities. In general, she gave information about their activities. After that, AIESEC took a stage.

First of all, AIESEC’s general overview was given to the public. Secondly, the focus was put on internships: winter, summer and long - term ones. In order to increase students' inspiration and motivation to go out, few videos concerning the internships were showed. In the end, the instruction of how and when to apply was given.
